Digging Billy

The World's Most Famous Outlaw's Body is Missing!

Here's why it may never be found.

William H. Bonney, better known as Billy the Kid was killed in Fort Sumner, NM on July 14, 1881 by Sheriff Pat Garrett. He was buried in the old post cemetery the next morning next to his pals Charlie Bowdre and Tom Folliard. That should have been the end of the story.

Almost immediately "the Kid lives" refrain swept across the southwest. Doubts about if Billy was killed and where his body lay remain to this day.

Digging Billy examines the 3 possible sites where The Kid might be buried, and shines a light on the economic impact of The Kid on these 3 towns.

3 Cities, 4 Graves, and it's possible Billy the Kid is not in any of them!
